The Vale Earth Fair Collective

The Vale Earth Fair Collective is group of volunteers who give up their free time to organise the annual Vale Earth Fair festival. As a charitable event, The Vale Earth Fair donates its profits to charitable organisations such as The Burma Campaign UK, the Linda Norgrove Foundation, and Safer LBG. All proceeds from fundraisers go towards helping to stage the Vale Earth Fair...

The Vale Earth Fair Collective promotes music and arts in Guernsey, with the main focus being the annual Vale Earth Fair festival which began in 1976. Remaining true to its roots, the Collective provides community events that aim to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian causes, in a way that limits and offsets the environmental impact of these events. This is achieved through using biodegradable products, recycling everything that can be recycled, offsetting carbon emissions, the sale of wholesome vegetarian food, and the use of local suppliers. Where possible the Vale Earth Fair aims to use and promote Fair Trade products.

The Vale Earth Fair Collective is an entirely voluntary organisation that brings people together to raise money for charitable organisations, support live music on Guernsey, and for the enjoyment of being involved in organising events with other like-minded individuals. It aims to provide an opportunity for local acts to perform alongside established acts from outside the island and inspire young performers.

The Vale Earth Fair Collective has built up a loyal following, both young and old, and become an established event in the British festival calendar.

The Vale Earth Fair is not just a music festival; it is part of Guernsey culture.
