Vale Earth Fair Unplugged

Fermain Tavern
Saturday, January 30, 2016 - 19:30

The first Vale Earth Fair fundraiser of 2016 is an unplugged night of acoustic music at the Fermain Tavern on Saturday 30th January. This has become a hugely popular annual event in recent years.

The live music is non-stop with the creation of a second stage in the Fermain Tavern allowing one acoustic act to follow on immediately after the other, ably compered by the roaming Graham Duerden. As always there will be a few established live acts performing acoustic interpretations of their usual sets, and Grant Sharkey is flying in from Southampton for the event to spice things up a bit.

The line-up for the evening is:

23.30     NEAR BLISS

23.00     GRANT SHARKEY

22.30     SUGARSLAM

22.00     GREGORY HARRISON

21.30     HONEST CROOKS

21.00     THE CROWMAN & THE FIDDLIN’ PIXIE

20.30     BORDERLINE PUPPETS

20.00     RAMBLIN’ NICK MANN

Doors open at 7:30pm and entry is £5 on the door and it’s over 18s only.

This is the 40th anniversary year for the Vale Earth Fair, and the Collective is planning a few special events throughout the year. The next fundraiser will be on Saturday 27th February at the Fermain Tavern, and sees one of the highlights of last year pop over from the UK for a special performance – Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons are playing live with support from Thee Jenerators and the Phantom Cosmonaut. Tickets are available now through the Vale Earth Fair website: www.valeearthfair.org priced £10. Get one early to avoid disappointment.

The Vale Earth Fair itself takes place on Sunday 28th August, and planning is already underway.
