Vale Earth Fair Pop-Up Shop

OSA Pop-Up Shop, Smith St., St Peter Port
Sunday, August 16, 2015 - 10:00

The Vale Earth Fair annual music festival is just a few weeks away, and we are taking over the OSA Pop-Up shop in Smith Street this Sunday and all next week to promote the event. Tickets will be on sale at the shop, and there will also be Vale Earth Fair merchandise on sale, including t-shirts, hoodies, and other goodies.

Second hand records and CDs will also be on sale at the shop, which is opening specially for record enthusiasts on Sunday from 10am until 5pm. The Vale Earth Fair Collective is appealing for donations of records, CDs and other music related items for the Pop-Up Shop to add to existing stock. Maybe you have a box of old records gathering dust at home – if so, the Vale Earth Fair will happily take them off your hands to help raise money towards the Vale Earth Fair, which is organised by volunteers and donates profits to charitable organisations.

“You’d be surprised how much interest there is in vinyl records, with both young and old enjoying rummaging through boxes of records and CDs,” explains Vale Earth Fair member Rob Roussel, “and you don’t have to be a serious collector, with plenty of bargains on offer too”. “We have a broad selection of records from Jazz to Rock, Dance to Classical, and from the 50’s up to the present day”.

If you have any unwanted  records, CDs, DVDs, music books , etc. you would like to donate to help raise funds for the Vale Earth Fair please email rob.roussel@cwgsy.net or call 07781 107698. Collections can be arranged, or you can drop them into the Pop-Up shop anytime on Sunday or during next week – opening hours will be 10am until 5:30pm.

Information about the causes that the Vale Earth Fair supports, namely the Burma Campaign UK, Free Tibet, and Bridge2Nepal, will also be available at the shop, if you want to learn more about the humanitarian work they do.
